Many students choose a French immersion program, with either group or private lessons. With a French immersion course, you will learn to speak French fast and reach your French language goals. At the same time, you will have enough free time to explore the city, travel on the weekend, make new friends and participate in the activities offered at your French Schools in France, Canada or Swizterland.

1 – Intensive French Group Lessons (20 or 30/wk)
The Intensive French Group Course is ideal for students at any level, from beginners to advanced, who like to make quick advancements in their French. You can combine 20 interactive French lessons per week (4 hours of intensive lessons per day) with cultural activities or additional classes. There is also a more intensive group course (30 hours per week).
The French group classes are small (primarily a maximum of 10 - 12 students), and you'll have fun learning French and talking to your classmates in a fun and friendly atmosphere. You will engage in vigorous activities, French grammar lessons, and speaking opportunities during your French group classes! The French class includes the learning of essential French grammar points for all levels, improving communication skills, written and oral comprehension and role plays.

2 – Individual French Lessons
With private French lessons you will learn from an experienced native-speaking French teacher at your own pace. If you would like to take your French skills to a higher French level in a short amount of time, or you have specific learning needs, individual French classes are perfect for you! You can even customize your French classes and include specific topics in the conversation. Of course you stil have the opportunity to interact with the other students outside of class and participate in the extracurricular activities. The French grammar is adapted to the student’s level and specific requests. Oral comprehension and expression in French are an important part of the program.

3 – Combi French Course: Group + Private
Combined French Courses offer a standard French morning course with extra afternoon lessons that aim to develop students' oral comprehension and expression and give an extra insight into French culture.
So if you have trouble deciding between French group or invididual lessons, you don’t have to choose as you can do the combination of both! In the combined French course, you will get the chance to have 20 hours of group lessons per week with your peers in a nice atmospehere, and then get extra French lesson to improve your French even faster! Private French lessons will help you advance on tough French grammar subjects you need extra help with and the French classes will improve your pronunciation and vocabulary acquisition.

4 – French & Gap Year

10 – French for seniors (55+)

11 – French Exam training: DELF and DALF
DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are the only French as a foreign language diplomas and official qualifications issued by the French Ministry of Education. They recognized worldwide, and certify that foreign candidates have achieved a certain level of French.

Moreover, DELF and DALF allow you to study, work and immigrate to a French-speaking country. DELF and DALF consist of six independent certificates that correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (A1-C2).
The DELF covers the first four levels (A1, A2, B1 and B2); more advanced students (at C1 and C2 level) can opt to take the DALF. The DELF/DALF qualification is valid for life, differentiating the test from the Test de Connaissance du Français (French Knowledge Test) or TCF..
The DELF examination aims to assess four skills: oral comprehension (listening), written comprehension (reading), oral expression (speaking), and writing. Each skill is marked out of 25 points, totaling 100 points. The test duration depends on the level but can take between one and two hours, except for the individual oral test, which takes about 15 minutes. A total score of 75/100 is considered a good result.
The minimum score you must obtain is at least 50 out of 100 points (this is called the "pass mark" ("seuil de réussite"). But if you score less than 5 out of 25 in any one of the four skill sections, you will not pass!
How long does it take to prepare you for the DELF / DALF test? Depending on each student, and the French course choosen to reach your goal, it takes approximately 60 hours to reach level A1, and about 120 hours to get A2. The time it takes to reach the other levels varies from 150 hours from A2 to B1, 200 hours from B1 to B2, and 250 hours from B2 to C1.
Since DELF is an official qualification it will give you access to universities; DELF is a real asset for your academic ánd professional career. It's also worth remembering that DELF is also a valuable advantage if you want to apply for French nationality or a French residence permit. The DELF or DALF diploma is a great way to enhance your CV.
